RE:FORM SCHOOL Painting finished

"Customers" 19''x32''

Customers was created in light of the “No Child Left Behind Policy”. Essentially the policy was put in place in 2002 by Bush to ensure that all students have a consistent level of learning in the classroom as well as structuring the curriculum in a way that allows fluid movement from grade to grade. My work focuses on how having been supplied a mediocre amount of information given by teachers pushes students into complacency and boredom. The piece also recognizes how a strong mind left unexercised will look for other avenues for stimulus.

  2. Looking pretty rad!

I bid on your painting, I don't know where I'll put it... art first, practicality second.
