Oil Painting Workshop
Saturated Realism
August 11/12 I'm hosting a 2 day oil painting workshop at my studio in The Gam Gallery, 110 East Hastings, Vancouver. The main focus of the class is distilling colours in order to strengthen definition of forms and their relationship between each other. There will be multiple demonstrations, walking you through my process to creating convincing likeness in subjects, exaggeration/caricature and realism. It'll be a paint til you drop kind of scenario so there's no end time really and wine is more than condoned.
